Ian Fletcher-Price founded the ergonomics company Posturite Ltd in 1991 and grew the business to become a market leader in workplace health and wellbeing, serving clients in 75 of the FTSE 100 companies.

Ian is a strong advocate of active working, and he leads the design of innovative ergonomic products for healthy working, holding several product patents. He expanded Posturite to offer services and training and through science-backed technology, education and consultancy, his mission is to change the way people feel at work for the better.

In 2008 Ian won “Sussex Business Person of the Year”. When Fellowes Brands bought Posturite in March 2020 the business employed 250 staff with a turnover in excess of £30m.

Ian and the Posturite team were entrusted by large corporations and government departments to guide them through the enormous challenge of sudden enforced homeworking in 2020, and Posturite continues to be a trusted supplier of top-quality working from home furniture and equipment. In 2021 for example, customers bought 49,000 ergonomic chairs and 28,500 ergonomic mice from Posturite to enjoy working in comfort.

Ian remains Chair of the Board alongside a handful of new ventures that he has cofounded since Covid.
