The Market Experience
Earlier this year Edeal was awarded money from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to deliver the Market Experience and Young Entrepreneur Scheme.
The scheme will offer opportunities for young people or fledging businesses to launch their business ideas at the street markets in Eastbourne on Wednesday and Sundays in Terminus Road.
The programme will offer a fully funded wrap around level of support from professional business advisors and market trainers to help guide new traders through the process every step of the way.
Young Entrepreneurs
- Initial one day hybrid workshop that will cover all the ins and outs of market trading and how to set-up a market business
- 1 to 1 customised business training and support from an Edeal business advisor. This will include training on merchandising, customer service, social media, accounting and market trading
- 1 to 1 ongoing support and training from the market manager with regards to setting up a market stall and ideas to help on market days
- Fully funded logistical support – we’ll provide the market equipment, insurance and cover pitch fees for course participants. All you need need to do is turn up with their product!
- Young enterprise scheme for school/college aged participants between the ages of 14-18 to help them develop a market business
Market Experience

We’re now taking signups for anyone who wishes to participate with the view to launching our first workshop at the end of November 2023.
